Electronics of the pedals

Here is a close up of the 100K potentiometer used for the pedal throw.  It just so happens that a wooden spool of thread gives about the right amount of pedal throw to be realistic.  In fact, this is an antique spool :)

There are two 1/8 watt 10K resistors on each side of the connecting wires in series with the Pot.  This is for an earlier problem with the way the A/D conversion of the voltage divider that the Joystick does.  There was lots of flutter with the rudder in the Simulator with full rudder pedal deflection.  So, I padded the voltage divider so it would not drop all the way to 0V or +5V.

Also, you will want to heat shrink these things to protect them from touching anything...
